Lowbrow and Sexploitation Art by Gonzo Dawg
The Dawg was born in the early '70s but he started very young, and his heart and soul are still firmly rooted in that decade, and the early '80s. He likes retro stuff from that era, hates silicone implants, and especially digs Italian splatter movies. His personal heroes and heroines are folks whom most sane people under the age of 30 have never heard of, or have long forgotten. His style is mostly lowbrow cartoon works with a twisted sense of humour, often inspired by exploitation and horror movies of the past.
For those of you who, like I did until after Gonzo Dawg first contacted me, don't know what Lowbrow Art is, look it up in Wikipedia. It's fascinating. The Lowbrow art movement originated in the late seventies in the world of underground comix and punk music in California. Just the right stuff for this website.
