          Chapter 2: Martin’s Dilemma

Martin walked along the trail to Serena’s house. His pace was slow and his mood thoughtful.  Normally he would be almost giddy to be on his way to see Serena.  Over the last year, she and Monica and he had grown quite close.  More than just the sex they shared almost daily, they loved and cared for each other as much as any furs could.  Lately though, both Serena and Monica had been subtly hinting that they were needing a little more.  Not more of him, but ‘more of them’.  This made Martin a bit nervous.  Partly because, having been brought up by strict parents, he knew this would mean marriage...Partly because marriage would mean he would have to choose between Serena and Monica and partly because the very thought of making kits or pups with Serena or Monica turned him on something fierce.

By the time he reached Serena’s door he had managed to work himself into a mildly depressed state.  He stood outside the door for several minutes.  Inside there was a muffled conversation going on.  He recognized Binky and Serena’s voices but couldn’t place the third voice.  Finally shaking away some of his gloom, he turned the knob and walked into the front room.

Serena stood next to the easy chair next to the couch.  She wore a green halter top and a pair of tan shorts.  Binky, who leaned on the arm of the couch, wore a tight, red tube top that molded itself around her ample chest and a short mini-skirt that afforded glimpses of her pink panty covered rump at the slightest provocation.  On the couch sat a very tall male fox clad in a white t-shirt, black leather jacket and dark blue jeans.  He was athletically built with a deep canine chest and was very handsome.  In spite of himself, Martin felt a slight twinge of protective jealousy.

Hovering in the air next to Binky was Serena’s faerie friend.

“You mean he knows both of you and he’s still a virgin?!” The faerie asked Binky.

“That’s Rahght,” Binky said, grinning slyly at the fox.  “‘Course so was Serena an’ me before we came heah.”

“Well we can fix that!” the faerie chirped happily.

The small, insect winged mouse gestured and everyone’s clothes vanished in a burst of green sparkles.  The fox was momentarily stunned.  He looked down at his now naked body and his slightly swollen sheath.  With a startled ‘Yip’ the fox scramble to hide behind the couch.

Binky and Serena were likewise startled, but were a bit more used to such goings on.  Serena merely checked to make sure her fur was properly arranged so as to still appear somewhat modest.  Binky turned and sat on the arm of the couch and lay her hands modestly in her lap.  Unfortunately, she turned to face Martin who had dropped to his knees with a startled ‘Eeeep!’ and wrapped himself in his tail.  Martin’s blush deepened as his eyes settled immediately on the aqua-blue bunny’s generous breasts.  Binky smiled and kept her hands in her lap.

“Well hi there, Martin!” Binky grinned.  “Y’all’s just in tahme ta meet Harley.”

“H-hi, Harley,” Martin managed to say as he tried to look away from Binky’s chest.

“Ummm...Hi...Martin was it?” The fox said as he poked his head up from behind the couch.

“Alright,” Serena chided the Faerie mouse.  “You’ve had your fun, now how about giving us back our clothes.”

“But Foxy’s still a virgin,” the faerie protested.

Serena merely frowned and raised one eyebrow at her little friend.

“Oh all right,” The faerie relented.

The faerie mouse snapped her fingers and everyone’s clothes re-appeared.  Relieved, Martin stood up, a little too fast for his tail to uncurl from around him.  He tripped and fell against Binky who fell back onto the couch.  Martin came to rest on top of the bunny, his chin cradled between Binky’s breasts.

“Well, Howdy-do to you too!” Binky grinned.

“Ummmm...Hi,” Martin grinned back, embarrassed and blushing.  “I...I’ll just get up now, shall I?”

“Alraghty,” Binky chuckled as the embarrassed Mink got off of her and helped her to her feet.

Serena giggled both at Martin’s situation and at Harley as he hesitantly came out from behind the couch.  The Faerie Mouse flitted about the group, a little annoyed at not being able to instigate any sex play.

“It really is a shame,” she squeaked in her most persistent voice.  “You three being such close friends, I’d have thought you would have been pleasuring each other night and day.”

“Nope, ‘fraid Harley’s to ‘proper’ ta do such a thang,” Binky laughed.  Then with a sly glance at Serena and Harley, “Though Ah have heard that he and Serena have ‘petted’ a few taums”

Harley blushed at Binky’s exposition.  Serena smiled a little fond remembrance smile and cleared her throat.

“It nevah went no farther than that,” Binky said.  She looked over the handsome fox and recalled how nice he had looked in nothing but his fur.  “Woulda been nahce though....”

“Then why not now?” the faerie squeaked.  “He’s here, you two are here and even Martin’s here!”

Martin grinned sheepishly, but Harley looked almost shocked at what the little creature was suggesting.  Serena and Binky were almost like his sisters.  He did have to admit he had briefly thought of them in a sexual way when he was younger and his mating drives had first kicked in.  And he did remember once or twice...well a few times when he and Serena had touched and explored each other’s bodies.  But he couldn’t conceive of actually mating with them…Most especially since they weren’t married.

“Well?” The mouse asked insistently.

“I don’t think so,” Serena said, noting Harley’s obvious distress.

The faerie crossed her arms and ‘hmphed’ dejectedly.

“As a matter of fact I was just getting ready to clean house when Harley showed up,” Serena said.  She looked at Harley, “Are you staying long?”

“Oh I hope he’s staying ‘long’”, the faerie squeaked.

“Ummm...Maybe a little while,” Harley said, trying to ignore the faerie.  “If it’s not too much trouble.”

“Not at all,” Serna said with a warm smile as she took Harley by the arm.  “Come with me.  I’ll show you to your room.”

Serena led Harley to her guest room with the faerie mouse flitting happily after them.  Martin breathed a sigh of relief after they had gone into the guest room.

“So what do you think of Harley?” Binky asked.

“He’s big,” Martin blurted out.  He blushed and quickly corrected himself.  “I mean, he seems nice.  A little skittish though.”

“Ah’m sure he’ll waum up soonah or latah,” Binky said with a smile.  “He sorta remahnds me of you.”

“I was never that skittish!” Martin said defensively.  “W-was I?”

“Uh-huh.  Not that it mattahs though,” Binky smirked.  “So how are thangs holdin’ up for you an’ Serena and Monica?”

“Things are good,” Martin said with a happy little smile.

“So when’s th’ weddin’?”

Martin choked, and coughed.

“Ummm...I hadn’t really thought that far ahead yet,” Martin admitted.  “I can’t figure out how to tell my parents.”

“Well, sugah.  Y’all bettah start thahnkin’ about it.  Y’all ARE gettin’ married, ain’cha?”

“Of...Of course w-we are,” Martin said.  “W-we all want l-l-little ones.  I...I’ve been th-thinkin’ about it...But...My parents...Th-they won’t like it.”

“Well, if they don’t lahke it, then screw ‘em,” Binky said.

“Oh, I couldn’t do that,” Martin said quickly.

“That’s not whot Ah meant, sugah.  Ah meant it’s y’alls lahfe.  Ah’m sho’ once they get their fuhst grandbaby that they’ll have a change of heart.”

“Y-y-you’re right, Binky.  I should ju-just t-t-tell them.  I should just g-go over to their house with Serena and Monica and say, ‘Mom, Dad...I love these two ladyfurs and they love me.  I’m going to marry them both and the three of us are going to live together and have lots and lots of kits!”

Binky grinned at Martin’s plan, noting how his confidence grew the more he talked about it.  She suddenly got a sly glint in her eye.

Whah not? She thought.  Serena wouldn’t look for mah paw prints all ovah Martin’s back.  She’d be too thrilled that he asked her.

“And then,” Martin continued, his voice loosing all his built up confidence and sounding very depressed.  “...They’ll call me a pervert, forbid me to marry both of them and disown me.”

Binky sighed in frustration.

“They won’t if they love you,” Binky said, trying to encourage Martin.  “Serena and Monica would be there ta help y’all.  They wouldn’t let y’all down.  They love ya.”

“You think so?” Martin asked timidly.

“Y’all know so, Martin,” Binky said, determined to nudge Martin to action.  “Y’alls parents are just going ta have ta realize that y’all ain’t a li’l baby no more.  Y’alls a grown up mink.”

Martin took a deep breath and let it out slowly as he weighed Binky’s argument.  His confidence  returned and shown in his eyes.

“Thank you, Binky,” Martin said as he embraced and hugged Binky gratefully.

Binky smiled and hugged Martin back.  She was feeling quite pleased with herself when Serena stepped back into the room dangling the faerie mouse by her tail as she closed the door to the guest room behind her.

“...And I’m sure he’d like to be alone right now,” she was telling the disgruntled faerie.  “Why don’t you go see what Bartholomew is up to?”

“Bartholomew!” the faerie squeaked happily before vanishing in a shower of green sparkles.

Serena spotted Binky and Martin holding each other.  She smiled and went quietly over to them.

“And just what are you two up to?” She asked

Martin let go of Binky and spun around to face Serena with a surprised look on his face.

“We were just...I mean she...She helped me with s-something and I was just...”

“Yes?” Serena said as she crossed her arms and smiled a mischievous little smile.

“Well, go on,” Binky whispered at Martin as she poked him in the back with her finger.

Martin began to sweat and fidget nervously.

“S-serena?  C-can you c-c-call Monica and h-have her come over?”

“Ummm...Sure,” Serena said, suddenly confused and curious.  “Are you alright, love?”

“Oh sure!” Martin answered quickly.  “I’m f-fine.  Aren’t I, B-binky?”

“Oh yeah,” Binky smirked.  “He’s just dandy.”

Serena went into the kitchen and quickly dialed Monica’s number.  She was a little concerned about Martin’s behavior and she was certain that Binky knew something she wasn’t telling.  The phone rang only a couple times before it was picked up.

“I WIN!” came Shiela’s Aussie accented voice.  “Hi!  Platypus residence.”

“Hello Shiela,” Serena said.  “Is your sister there?”

“Sure thing, Serena.  Just a minute,” Shiela said before yelling away from the receiver.  “Hey big sis!  It’s Serena!”

A few moments later Monica’s voice came over the line.

“Hello, Serena,” she said brightly.

“Hi Monica, could you come over to my place?  Martin’s here and he wants to see us both for some reason.”

“Bet I can guess the reason,” Monica said knowingly.

“Would be nice,” Serena said with a smile. “But I don’t think that’s it.  He seems a bit nervous… More so than when he’s in that kind of mood.”

“I’ll be right over,” Monica said.  “Anything for you and Martin.  See you in a few minutes.”

Serena hung up and went back out into the living room where she found Binky and Martin whispering conspiratorially.  Martin insisted that he was fine in spite of his odd behavior and Binky would only smile knowingly.  Ten minutes later, Monica arrived.  Martin asked Serena and Monica to sit down on the couch and knelt down in front of them.  He grinned sheepishly and trembled slightly.  He took Monica’s and Serena’s hand in his hands and swallowed hard.

M-Monica?  S-Serena?  I...I l-love you b-both very, v-very much,” Martin began, trying hard not to let his voice squeak.  “I...I want us all to s-spend the rest of...The rest of our l-lives together.  Will you...will you....”

Martin’s heart raced in his chest.  He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, trying to gather his courage.

Binky’s heart raced in her chest as well.  She silently urged martin to continue.

Martin opened his eyes and looked into the eyes of the two ladyfurs he loved more than anything.

“Will you marry me?” he asked, his voice only a little above a whisper.

The silence hung in the air for what seemed like an eternity as Serena and Monica were struck speechless, their eyes widening even as their cheeks flushed.  Suddenly they both broke out in joyful smiles.  The looked to each other, the love in their eyes silently saying all that needed to be said, then they looked back to Martin.

“Oh, Martin!” Monica said, on the verge of joyful tears.  “Oh Martin, Yes!”

“So will I, Martin,” Serena said, her voice brimming with the joy she felt.

The three of them embraced, kissing and hugging and snuggling.  Binky sniffed and wiped a happy tear from her eye.

“Mah best friend is gettin’ Married,” she said as she joined the group hug.

Harley came back into the living room and saw the knot of happy furs at the couch.

“What’s all the commotion?” He asked.

“We’re getting Married!” Monica sniffed happily.

“All of you?” Harely asked incredulously.

“Well, those three,” Binky said with a smile.

“What a place,” Harley said out loud.
